Draft and get furry friend!

We would like to do a special invitation to YOU for a draft tournament in Bonn, Germany, on May 23. The official Black Chantry draft cube will be used, 8 packs per player, and all participants get 1 copy each of the special promo cards Renegade Garou in German (Abtrünniger Garou) and Renegade Garou in Latin (Versipellis trānsfuga). Maximum 20 participants. More details in the event calendar at VEKN.net!

Are you also interested in hosting a draft cube event? Talk to your VEKN National Coordinator, they can order draft cards.

As for the Renegade Garou card, it is a "normal" promo card - any event organiser can get it through their NC. It is also available in French, and maybe even more languages will turn up. Do you have any Garous in your country?

Recruitment Exercise: VTES at Mega XP

Some words from Lalovtes:

On April 25th and 26th, 2026, another edition of Mega XP, the largest board game convention in our country, took place. Within this event, which boasts a huge program of activities, and thanks to the invitation of our friends at TCG's Quest, Vampire: The Eternal Struggle was present with the participation of the Prince of Neza, who gave demonstrations of our beloved game.

During these two days, many people came to learn about VTES. From those who had never even heard of the game, not even the role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade, to those who had played it before and were unaware that it was still being published.

With a strategy adapted for quick demonstrations (with only three players per table), those interested were able to try out the game mechanics with the New Blood decks from the Toreador, Malkavian, Nosferatu, and Ministry clans.

We hope that this effort can be repeated and help to raise awareness of our game and that the Mexican VTES community continues to grow as it has been doing.

Black Chantry Summary: April 2026

• For ALL of you that play VTES in the Latin language! A new pack has been added to Gamepod, containing one copy of each card from the five V5 decks (Malkavian, Nosferatu, Toreador, Tremere, Ventrue) in Latin. More is coming.

• A bunch of new promo cards are available at Gamepod, apart from the Renegade Garous mentioned above, also 8 Fifth Edition cards in German and Legacy in Latin, with art by BCP's own Ginés Quiñonero, depicting everyone's favourite NC Rudolf Scholz. Keep track of all promo cards at the Blackchantry.com Promo cards page!

• The artwork for the Brazil and New York sets is complete, and the third round of playtesting is ending soon. Sadly, printing time has gotten longer, so we are looking at a late summer/early fall store date.

• Black Chantry will be at the UK Games Expo in sunny Birmingham on May 29-31. Pop by for a chat, demos and maybe some cards!

• Next up for VTES Legacy Card Singles at Drivethrucards (USA) and at Gamepod (Spain) will be Brujah antitribu.

• Prepare for a survey! There will be a VTES player survey from Black Chantry soon, about you and what you think about the game. Stay tuned.

• The Loose Cannon standalone DLC is the upcoming expansion for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. Here you get a new perspective on the story, as you play Benny Muldoon, ruthless vampire Sheriff, set out to make things right his way, with gun and fist.

• Clans of London is a digital collectible card game set in the World of Darkness, designed for 5-minute duels on IOS or Android. Strategic they said, but is it something for VTES fans? Yes! At least according to a majority of comments when we shared the game in our channels. More info is at the news page, and try it immediately at clansoflondon.com.

• You are invited to participate in “Secrets Never Die”, a World of Darkness fan lore contest, where we want you to write a short (500-3000 words) story from the perspective of a character within World of Darkness. The contest will end on October 8th, and a panel of judges from the White Wolf team will pick one winner every month. Find out more at the dedicated page. Also check out the video contest “Tapes from the Shadows” and the art contest “Icons of the Night”.

• “City Council of Darkness”, the Vampire: The Masquerade Dimension 20 actual play series, is now showing on Dropout TV. A coterie of flamboyant goth vampires is forced to blend into the small town in Oregon, where they end up running the local government. What could possibly go wrong?

 Great VTES content

• Ever tried playing a VTES league? Try it! Stockholm, Sweden, has one that has been going since 2012. The rules might seem a bit convoluted at first glance, but really work to keep standings fair and exciting for a whole 10 week period. You see them at the bottom of each weekly post. A recent post shows the top clans and the top players for the last couple of years.

• Shell Games had a super cool episode with decks based on the most recent New Blood packs: Hecata, Lasombra, Ravnos, Salubri and Tzimisce

• Information Highway had some really nice articles recently, particularly “The Art of Combat part II: The Evolution”. Check it out!

• Kelly Lyons over at Reading Between the Lyons keeps on delivering nice videos, most recently “The Trouble with Tremere”, “What´s wrong with voting” and an interview with Norm Brown about his highly original Hecata + Golconda & allies winning deck.

• Not exactly “content”, but real-life SUPERHEROISM: Hungarian players with Gábor Endler in the lead held demo games at the Hungarian Card Expo. Do you also want to host demonstration games of VTES and become a hero of the community? Send an email to  to get help with materials!

Black Chantry Summary: March 2026

• Dementation and Malkavian antitribu cards are now up on VTES Legacy Card Singles both at Drivethrucards (USA) and at Gamepod (Spain). More old Sabbat stuff will follow later this year.

• Two new promo cards were revealed: Cavalier (for National Championship events) and Dark Mirror of the Mind (for Continental Championship events).

• Prepare for a survey! There hasn´t been a proper VTES player survey in years, but now one is in the works, because BCP need more knowledge about you and your thoughts on the future of the game.

• Design of the Brazil and New York sets is moving on. Most artwork is done and a third round of playtesting will begin soon. Release is hopefully June.

• In the video above (dubbed in English!), you can see some fantastic Brazilian people testing out the two-player format. You can do it too – just have a look at the open playtest page over at VEKN.net!

Recent news in the World of Darkness

Some recent nuggets from White Wolf:

• “Hunter: The Reckoning – Deathwish” is the new action-RPG now in development by the Polish studio Teyon, known for “RoboCop: Rogue City” and many other titles. Check out the trailer and wishlist for Steam, Playstation or Xbox!

• “City Council of Darkness” is a Vampire: The Masquerade actual play by Dimension 20 with none other than Brennan Lee Mulligan as Storyteller! This has a humorous tone, with a coterie of “flamboyant goth vampires” that have to assimilate into the small town and end up running the local government. Trailer is available at Dimension 20.

• “Vampire: The Masquerade - Live From the Succubus Club” – the first rock’n’roll supplement for any roleplaying game? – is now available physically ...

• ... but we are just a bit more excited for “Courts of the Damned” for the same game, revealed last month and now on pre-order. Politics! Intrigue! Power! That is what we VTES fans like!
